In this position, the person performs various tasks in the assembly of different products and conveyor systems and ensure the quality of each piece of equipment assembled.


  • Perform assembly or sub-assembly of various products and systems
  • Use conventional machines and tools (drill presses, lathes, tappers, grinders, hand drills, milling machines, etc.)
  • Verify the conformity of machined parts using measuring instruments and report any non-conformity
  • Carry out in-process and final inspections according to established criteria and identify any problems encountered
  • Complete the required forms in case of non-conformity and submit them to the engineering team
  • Disassemble certain assemblies for packaging and shipping to customers
  • Respect the work instructions related to the work environment and health and safety

The ideal candidate for this position has relevant training related to mechanics, machining, maintenance combined with three (3) to five (5) years experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector. The person also has excellent manual skills, meticulousness, and rigor in work. The ability to read work plan and understand assembly instructions as well as the use of measuring and precision instruments is important. A basic knowledge of the operation of machining and hand tools, multi-tasked oriented, resourcefulness, ability to work in a team and adaptability are essential.
