Asset Control Coordinator, Tool Lab

Company: Finning Canada Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: Reporting to the Service Asset Manager the asset control coordinator is accountable for handling the overall daily operational requirements of the tool program including customer service, operations support including workflow, invoicing, ISO compliance and documentation, maintenance and rollout of technology apps/software, performance reporting for monthly and annual statistics.

Job Description: Tool Lab Customer Service 30% Tool orders, quotes, suppliers, sourcing, customer interaction Develop and maintain customer relations, internal and external to Finning Maintain and administer tooling records Tool Lab Operations Support 30% Participate in regular scheduled meetings Health and Safety administrative tasks (planning for Tool Lab office, filing, management of safety reporting) Orientation, training, assistance of other tool lab employees Quantity – monitor productivity (access to tracking tools Windward) Monitor and determine manpower availability, work with manager and Lead hand to allocate resources as required and assign additional resources if required Provide insight and guidance by working with manager and Lead hand to assign work priorities to resources where applicable by overseeing jobs for work quality and productivity Support ISO certification and ensuring compliancy and continuous improvement with documentation, meetings and audits Support technology integration 25% Future software upgrades for asset tracking Inventory software management and vending machines Reporting on the Tool Lab performance / action plans 15% Monthly invoicing Qualifications: Experience in data management Customer service experience (in person and virtual) Strong tool inventory background Understanding of heavy equipment industry Understanding of tool warranties from different vendors Proficient in MS Office applications, advanced level in excel and internal systems.
