Brake and Shear

ALL SEASONS EQUIPMENT MFG is located in the East end of Oakville, manufacturing high performance roofing equipment for 42 years strong. ASE distributes roofing equipment across Canada and U.S.

ASE is has an open position for a a Junior Manual assistant for Brake & Shear department

To hold this secure position, candidate must be dedicated, high work ethic, highly dependable, able to work independently, works well with others and be able to handle a busy work load.

Tasks/Responsibilities :

• Read production drawings to produce various configurations;
• Cut, notch, and bend steel sheets according to specified production drawings and specifications;
• Setup tooling on brake press for specific bend patterns;
• Operate various equipment (shear press, punches and hydraulic brake press);
• Usage of Drill Press (vertical and radial);
• Usage of overhead cranes and material handling equipment (a bonus/will be trained);
• Follows safety procedures to insure safety for all involved.

Skills and Personal Traits Required:

• Adapts well to a busy manufacturing environment and able to complete priority tasks and multi task;
• Experience in an industrial capacity with a notable willingness to learn and develop new skills;
• At least 3 years experience in a related job.
