(CAN) Senior Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising

This is a Full-time position in Dundas, ON posted February 13, 2021.

Position Summary The Sr Manager Ecommerce Merchandising leads, engages, and inspires an Ecommerce category management team as well as cross functional groups to achieve Ecommerce P&L deliverables and sell the products customers want at unbeatable prices on Walmart.ca.The Sr.

Manager Ecommerce Merchandising also directly designs, develops, and executes strategies for key categories within the assigned portfolio.

What you’ll do 1.

Develops the portfolio’s online strategy, aligned with the OMNI business strategy, to ensure the delivery of profit and growth targets.

Implements additional strategic initiatives as appropriate.

Utilizes market research including category, competitor and customer trend information to create the online strategy, operating plan and category level targets to ensure delivery of the P&L.

3.

Aligns the merchandise strategy with cross functional partners while managing and influencing interdependencies.

Influences and drives alignment of ecommerce priorities and programs with omnichannel teams.

Drives OMNI integration.

Accountable for delivering the portfolio’s online sales, market share growth, gross and variable profit, and inventory level targets.

This will be achieved through the ecommerce merchandising team developing the assortment available online (store SKUs, Ext.

Aisle SKUs) and through collaboration with the omnichannel teams to drive traffic to Walmart.ca, improve path to purchase and conversion rates, enhance online content, optimize in stock levels, and optimize sourcing & fulfilment channels.

Accountable for budgeted inventory levels through close collaboration with Category Managers and Replenishment.

Attends trade shows and buying trips in order to identify new vendors, enhance innovation and product categories.

7.

Develops and maintains key strategic vendor partnerships and ensure all vendors operate in alignment with Walmart’s objectives and values, at the department and/or divisional level.

Initiates, negotiates, and manages vendor agreements, costs, vendor allowances/terms, quality, and delivery terms in order to drive supplier performance.

8.

Responsible for associate engagement, development and ensuring associates (direct and indirect reports) have current development and succession plans in place.

Provides coaching and direction to the Merchandising Team and mentor associates throughout the business as required.
