Sanimax Hamilton is looking for a Customer Service Student for the Ontario Procurement team.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Customer Support Student is responsible to provide administrative support to the Ontario Procurement team for the 2023 summer.

Job duties:

  • Contact Customers to inform of modification for the scheduling.  
  • Contact Customers for surveys  
  • Validate new account tickets from Customer Service
  • Provide basic training on the use of the system to new Procurement Representatives and assist Customer Service agents in the “Account Opening” process if required
  • Provide additional Service Ticket support when needed
  • Prepare and send Sanimax Welcome letter sent to all new customers via email
  • Supporting the Procurement Team upon request 
  • Special projects

Job requirements:

  • Limited travel required, around 25%  (GTA area)
  • This role is located at our facility in Hamilton
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other departments and our customers.
  • Possess working knowledge of administrative tasks.
  • Comfortable to follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Additionally, French would be an asset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with Sanimax personnel, customers, vendors, suppliers, and other business-related contracts.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and determine work assignments and work methods.
  • Ability to assist with special or ongoing projects as instructed by the Procurement Manager
  • Ability to operate all necessary office equipment required to accomplish job duties, such as computers, telephones, fax machines, etc.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to assist in other work-related areas as requested.
