Key Responsibilities
➢ Operates all equipment (presses, air fixtures, hand tools, assembly fixtures, etc.) as per operator instruction sheets.
➢ Starts/Stops presses.
➢ Organizes scrap removal.
➢ Performs a daily inspection as per the Inspection Instruction Sheets on a per-shift basis.
➢ Sets up work stations for Production, by carrying out required duties on machinery, tools and materials including last procedure.
➢ Conducts test runs, measuring test pieces and further adjusting machines to ensure parts produced meet required specifications.
➢ Ensures all required equipment safety checks are completed.
➢ Reports any problems with parts and machinery to the appropriate Supervisor immediately. Suggests corrective action where applicable.
➢ Performs duties of material handling as applicable.
➢ Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Co-operates with the Safety Committee and adheres to all plant safety housekeeping rules and policies, including the wearing of all personal protective equipment
➢ Attends meetings as required.
➢ Ensures production time sheets are properly completed.
➢ Participates in C.I. activities.
➢ Maintains part quality as per part specific work instructions.
➢ Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
➢ Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
➢ Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.
➢ Any other reasonable request made by Management.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
➢ Good working knowledge of English, verbal and written.
➢ Good mathematical skills.
➢ Minimum 2 years related experience.
➢ Die Setter Certificate.
➢ Lift truck driver Certificate.
