We invite you to discover a new chapter in your career, and in your life, by considering this opportunity to join our team! We strongly encourage applications from diverse communities across race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin, and other marginalized communities.New Chapter requires all new employees have begun the COVID vaccination process by their start date.MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:* Work with Purchasing and Operations to ensure EM quality performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented.* Coordinate and participate in focused EM meetings to review on-going quality issues.* Lead pre-qualification audits of EM including audits at external manufacturing sites.* Determine QA/GMP qualification status of EM sites.* Participate in managing NCI internal EM-related non-conforming material issues by working with quality control when non-conforming material events are escalated.* Drive root cause analysis of EM-related quality issues and development of long-term cost-effective solutions applying sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies determining effectiveness of EM corrective actions.* Approves relevant quality change request management activities.* Resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply.* Generate and implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas while developing long‐term EM relationships.* Aid in the evaluation and qualification of new EMs and/or new bulk materials following a defined new product development process.* Review and approve technical documentation, (batch records, material specs, procedures) as well as the creation and formal documentation of new processesKEY COMPETENCIES:  * Problem Solving/Analysis, basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.* Decision making and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively manage time and handle multiple task assignments.* Organizational skills necessary to create, collect and maintain company records and meet timelines as required.* Comprehensive understanding of auditing principles and broad basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.* Ability to participate and provide leadership on teams and maintain positive work environment with those teams. Understands team functions, leadership techniques and project management methodologies.* Ability to communicate in a proactive and solution-focused manner, including keeping management aware of potential issues.* Detail oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.EXPERIENCE,EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:  * Associates Degree in Science or related field, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a GMP / Manufacturing setting,* Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a QA/QC function.* Ability to travel to manufacturing sites locations as necessary up to 40%. New Chapter is an equal opportunity employer.
