Hybrid Bilingual Sales & Customer Success Manager

This is a Contract position in Richmond, ia posted July 17, 2021.

Convene is a leading provider of Board Management Software for medium to large companies across North America.

We boast over 100 clients in North America, including Fidelity Investments, The Department of Homeland Security and The New York City Comptroller’s Office to name a few.

The company has 450 staff worldwide and is a diverse and well-rounded team.

You will have regular contact with internal staff members based in Canada, the UK, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore to name a few Responsibilities:
• Report to the Vice President of Sales and provide overall support to him for the North American and Caribbean markets
• Manage approximately 75-100 accounts in the North American market, including renewals, customer check-ins, training and referrals/references
• Reach out to clients and help them maximize their use of Convene
• Provide customer support and assistance as needed – particularly to our French speaking clients
• Prospect for new business within defined market segments (Bilingual market – 30-40 activities per week, including email, LinkedIn, and phone prospecting)
• Find creative ways to upsell to clients and generate referrals
• Attend weekly/monthly meetings and report regularly
• Record clients interactions via CRM
• Participate in marketing calls with ideas and insights to what we are hearing in the field
• Attend conferences and events across North America as a Brand Ambassador for Convene
– some locations we traveled to pre-Covid include Las Vegas, San Diego, Washington DC, Fort Lauderdale, Victoria BC and more Qualifications:
• Bilingual – fully fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English & French
• 2 years of customer success experience – preferably within a SaaS organization
• 2 years of sales development, account development or similar experience – preferably within a SaaS organization
• Self-motivated and hard-working with keen attention to detail
• Efficient, competent, and diligent in completing tasks while keeping an eye on the bigger picture Location: Remote – Preference for somewhere within 50 KM’s to Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal Salary: Compensation commensurate with experience – range of $55
– $70 K total earnings, including base salary, commission, and bonus
