Journeyman Millwright

Aerotek

This is a Full-time position in Edmonton, AB posted August 13, 2019.

This individual will be responsible for repairing plant equipment and doing preventative maintenance as well as fixing break downs.

Equipment includes, manufacturing machines, pumps, compressors, production equipment.

The opportunity: Millwrights utilize blueprints and plans and work with engineers to complete job tasks, repair machinery and set machines and equipment according to specifications.

Journeyman millwrights is someone who have acquired extensive experience and knowledge through formal apprenticeships and training programs.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibility Areas: Repairing plant equipment.

Preventative Maintenance/Fixing break downs.

Work with manufacturing machines, pumps, compressors, production equipment.

Determining the cause of failures and developing proactive solutions to prevent failures.

Determining the scope of repairs.

Walking around the plant and seeing what types of things they might encounter.

Performance will be monitored on attendance, reliability, and ability to work safely.

Looking for individuals that can tear apart, and put back together again.

Not just do minor repairs.

Other requirements are : Valid Journeyman Ticket Hydraulic/Pneumatic tool experience.

Must have a reliable transportation with class 5 driving license.

Must be able to pass pre-employment offer test.

Shop environment working inside.

This person will be reporting to Kurtis Royer.

It’s a team of 2 individuals.

Day shift.
