We have a job opportunity for you, within our company, in the Maintenance department as a “Maintenance Buyer”.

More specifically, the main responsibilities are:

  • Proceed with the acquisition of parts and materials for the maintenance and production service according to the policies in force (purchase order, requisition, tracking of the delivery note, carrier).
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers.
  • Make sure you stick to your budget.
  • Sort, store, and ship parts.
  • Carry out purchase transactions.
  • Manage and maintain maintenance inventory by keeping minimum quantities as required.
  • Handle the goods on receipt, carry out a summary check of the goods (with a purchase order), classify and store them in the appropriate places.

Requirements:

  • DEC in procurement or a DEP in industrial mechanics or equivalent.
  • Have 5 years of experience in the field of purchasing for a maintenance service.
  • Experience in negotiating with external suppliers.
  • Experience in the food industry (asset)
  • Able to communicate with suppliers in French and English
