 JOB POSTING CCC is proud of its 95+ years serving the Canadian Industry both in the distribution and manufacturing markets.  A privately held Canadian Company, we are a successful supply chain partner providing “Intelligent Delivery” of products and solutions to the Industrial, Environmental, and Plastics industries. We currently operate two manufacturing sites in Colborne and Elmira Ontario and have supporting warehouses and sales representatives across Canada and in the Northeastern United States.  Position:         Maintenance WorkerBusiness:         CCC Sulphur ProductsLocation:         60 First Street East, Elmira, ON  CCC is seeking an experienced, motivated and safety conscious individual to maintain and repair all equipment associated with the operation of the plant and packaging buildings. The right candidate will be familiar with boilers, piping, plumbing, pumps, pneumatics, welding, compressors, water systems and some electrical knowledge. Tools are provided.  This could lead to an apprenticeship for the right individual if interested. Primary Responsibilities:* Assisting with maintaining a preventative maintenance program and taking corrective action, where necessary, for the Elmira facility, including upkeep of the property and buildings, in compliance with all corporate procedures and government regulatory guidelines* Providing support for all personnel involved in maintenance and production at the Elmira facility, ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, product quality, internal service, efficiency and cost control that are consistent with corporate objectives* Railcar connection and sealing* Replacing/repairing/fabricating all types of mechanical and/ or electrical equipment, providing practical and economical services to increase productivity, including repair/replacement of defective equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, hoses etc.)* Monitoring contractors’ work in compliance with health and safety regulations and corporate procedures* Keeping thorough records of all equipment inspections Requirements:* Minimum High School diploma, technical college diploma preferred, but not required* Welding ability* Knowledge of federal/provincial environmental, and health and safety legislation* Mechanical aptitude* Ability to interpret technical specifications and manuals* Strong interpersonal skills* Effective time management skills CCC is committed to providing accommodations for persons with disabilities.
