The JTEKT plant in Bedford produces two types of parts for the assembly of automatic transmissions for motor vehicles: the pump vane and the planetary shaft.

As an Operator-Engineer-Inspector, you will have to perform several diversified tasks.

Under the supervision of the line supervisor, the operator performs various tasks in accordance with the concept of group and cell technology for the finishing of products. He/she must perform the assembly and operation of machines for the production of planetary shafts and unhardened planetary shafts. The process involves rough grinding, secondary operations (rotary transfer machine, broaching, milling and drilling), finish grinding, inspection and packaging of product

Applicants must:

• Have completed a secondary 5 (diploma available) or equivalency;
• Be available on 3 shifts (day, night, night);
• Be self-sufficient, diligent and able to work in a team;
• Have a DEP in the field and mechanical experience (Assets).
