Cresswell operates in the processing and assembly of steel products including fasteners for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the construction equipment industry, as well as structural products in the building construction industry. Our team manufactures all of our products to the specifications and tolerances of our OEM customers while continually challenging ourselves to improve.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Cresswell’s operators/painters operate industrial painting equipment in order to ensure the quality of the paint and the finish of the products. They also make sure that the products are properly cleaned and validated before painting. They also operate the shot blasting machine and lifting equipment in order to ensure an optimal surface for paint adhesion and to ensure the quality of a considerable number of products. In addition, they must install the required accessories.

• Preparation of the products to be painted;
• Installation of accessories on the products;
• Painting the products;
• As well as manipulating several tools and equipment such as the shot blaster, the grinder, the electric hoist and the overhead crane.

In addition, the company offers three shifts, as follows:

• Day shift: Monday-Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:50 pm
• The evening shift : Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm to 1:30 am
• The weekend shift: Friday-Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications and skills required

• Experience as an operator.
• Qualifications required for this position are a good work ethic, diligence and the ability to work in a team environment.
