Role Summary

        
Salary Range; $72,000 – $90,000

 

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing paint processes that ensure Business Plan targets are being met. Ensures cycle time and efficiency targets are constantly met.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop paint processes for new launch tools
– Track program performance to business plan targets and implement corrective measures
– Lead team to review cycle times and overall efficiency
– Create weekly reports summarizing overall yield and utilization
– Drive process trials and quality validations
– Develop design of experiments and engineering trials for new material, tooling and machinery 

A Division of Magna, Polycon Industries is a World Class supplier of automotive parts.  Polycon moulds, paints, assembles and sequences automotive products to OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers).       
 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

– Chemical, Mechanical Engineering Degree required
– Minimum one year or related work experience in paint process/process development required
– Strong knowledge of machinery, tooling and automation required
– Experience in OEM paint/process or equivalent
– Computer/robotic/PLC/mechanical equipment experience required
