This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted February 22, 2021.

Production SchedulerFood Manufacturer CPGMississauga, ONThe Production Scheduler is accountable for the day-to-day activities required to create and maintain detailed production/supply schedules.

You will be the point person to the supply organization to solve short term issues and work closely with the Master Scheduler.

Must be forward thinking, excellent at multi-tasking and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in a fast passed, high production manufacturing environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Translate final time phased production plan into detailed schedule for each asset and manage daily production schedules, 14-day outlook, supply problems and resolution.

Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.

Communicate supply issues, deviations from plan and potential resolutions.

Act as primary interface with customer service, production and logistics.

Maintain the integrity of the schedule with manufacturing.

Measure weekly schedule performance to standards.

Must be willing to work OT or Weekends when/if production needs call for itTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Exposure or experience working in an ERP planning environment is a must Good knowledge of scheduling and inventory management principles Ability to create weekly individual production plans taking into account inventory, storage capacity, customer needs and more from the Master ScheduleEDUCATION: High school or equivalent APICS modules: Basics of Supply Chain Management, Detailed Scheduling, Planning & Execution, and Control of Operations an assetOTHER SKILLS REQUIRED: 2 years’ experience in a high speed, high volume, fast paced environment Strong ability to collaborate with multiple teams including Customer Service, Production and Logistics teams Looks for the win/win solution while driving improvement for the entire supply chain Strong ability to think in your feet and be forward thinkingWHAT WE OFFER Base salary, Profit Sharing, Benefits, RSP Excellent work environment with many tenured employees Flexible day shift schedule An organization that is environmentally responsible in the interests of our employees, customers, suppliers and communitySend resume in confidence to:lisa.deangeloprincetonone.comPrincetonOne is an equal opportunity employer.
