Production Line Worker


This is a Full-time position in Dartmouth, NS posted July 14, 2019.

Employment : Contract of Openings : 1 Classification : Other|Warehouse|Warehouse|Warehouse|Warehouse Industry:Other|Warehouse|Warehouse|Warehouse|Warehouse Talentcor is recruiting for Production Line Workers in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Accountabilities: Manufacture products in a safe, efficient, quality minded manner Carry out preparation work which includes, but is not limited to: standard cutting, assembly, and rolling components together Check material for conformance prior to fabricating Responsible for first line quality inspection and control Assist in the production of mockups Perform simple welding tasks Complete all production related paperwork Material movement and stock up orders as required Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner Ability to work in a team environment under general supervision As required, provide training to new and/or junior employees with a focus on performing work in a safe, efficient, quality minded manner Location, shifts, duties and responsibilities may be amended from time to time in order to support efficient company operations Attention to safety.

Ability to work well within a team and with minimal supervision.

Ability to work under a strict time-line Ability to manage heavy loads and repetitive lifting in a safe manner.

Fabrication experience is a must.

Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.

Ability to weigh and measure items.

Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Understanding and following all verbal and written instructions.

Effective verbal and listening communications skills.

Time management skills.

Attention to detail and a critical eye for identifying defects Ability to read instructions and blue prints Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place.

Ability to work independently under general supervision and complete daily activities according to work schedule Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.

Self-starter and highly motivated to make proactive changes Proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to engaging team members.

Effective time management skills, able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place.

Ability to work independently and harmoniously within in a team environment Clean criminal record Must have steal toed work boots Must be able to start work at 7am and work 10-hour shifts.
