POSITION OVERVIEW Adecco Canada is actively recruiting Production Workers for permanent positions for an industrial client located in Belleville, Ontario.

In this role, selected candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of industrial duties including assembly line work, quality inspections, and material handling.

Successful candidates will work directly for the client site on a full-time, permanent basis.

Ideal candidates will have prior industrial experience, be available to work on an ongoing, full-time and permanent basis, have flexible availability to work various shifts, be able to pass a Canadian Criminal Record Check, and have a team-player attitude.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION Inspecting raw material for quality prior to feeding product into production machines Performing routine and changeover sterilization of machinery, tools, and surfaces Following the production schedule and direction from team leaders, ensure that material is processed with the goal of optimizing efficiency and limiting quality issues Performing visual inspections of finished product and packaging Packaging and labeling finished product Weigh finished product Work with Quality Control, Maintenance Departments, Team Leads, and Supervisors to communicate information both verbally and within production reports pertinent to the manufacturing process REQUIREMENTS Education: Completion of Grade 12/GED Equivalency is preferred, though equivalent work experience will be considered.

Post-secondary education or certifications in a relevant field including manufacturing, skilled trades, etc.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial or general labour setting is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in assembly, production, machine operator, or quality positions within a manufacturing facility.

Technical Skills: Candidates should be comfortable using Word Processing Software and entering data in Excel-based spreadsheets.

Personal Attributes: Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.

Candidates should be comfortable working in teams.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined and understand manufacturing processes.

Candidates must be reliable and punctual.

Environment: Candidates will be required to perform repetitive movements throughout the duration of shifts including standing for extended periods, sitting for extended periods, and bending, twisting, and lifting as needed.

Availability: Candidates must be available to work various shifts and be available to work full-time hours.

Criminal Background Check Requirements: Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check if selected.
