Senior Project Manager with 10 years of experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects within a complex environment using the PMI PMBOK aligned Project Management methodology.

The role will be responsible for coordination and management of the project deliverables outlined in the SOW, day-to-day client stakeholder relationship management, leading a distributed project team, management of contract, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks & issues, together with regular status reporting to CGI and client executives.

Your future duties and responsibilities: Client facing IT consulting engagements Leading development teams Full cycle project management experience
• Overall responsibility for delivering project outcomes on time within a fixed price budget
• Manage multiple competing priorities through all phases of the project from initiation to post implementation
•Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures and timelines
•Develop and maintain cost estimates, resource plans and any other documentation required to control the project budget and statements of work
•Ability to lead teams in both traditional Waterfall as well as Scrum/Agile environments
•Proactively anticipate issues and/or organizational challenges and develop mitigating strategies
•Focus on team and client satisfaction
•Manage client, vendor and technology relationships as required and make recommendations to senior management as the opportunities arise
•Identify and develop new business opportunities, lead RFP / proposal responses as required
•Ability to develop and build strong productive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
•Ability to lead and participate in executive level business and technology discussions
•Demonstrated success at collaborating, building consensus, and driving multiple projects to completion
•Lead the project team through problem determination and issue resolution as required
•Communicate and reinforce project methodologies and standards developing all project artifacts as required
•Direct and lead the project team and providing ongoing advice and guidance
•Monitor all testing and implementation activities ensuring that all phases/aspects of testing are covered based on the project to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget.

•Mentor and motivate other PMs and senior consultants
•Assist the PMO by providing delivery management reviews to other projects
•Participate or provide leadership in local PM practice group
•Participate in other business analysis and/or management consulting engagements as necessary Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Formal PMBOK aligned Project Management training through either university or college courses, PMI certification, or corporate sponsored education (unless diploma or degree is in Project Management);
•A minimum of 10 years IT related experience with proven track record
•Excellent communication and team facilitation skills
•Strong verbal, written, facilitation and presentation communication skills in English
•Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
•Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of stakeholders
•Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision; and
•Strong problem solving and decision-making.
