This is a Full-time position in Quebec City, QC posted September 21, 2022.

POSITION: Intensive Adult Care Worker Reg Part Time LOCATION: Maple Ridge BC SALARY: $24.76 HOURS: 22.5 hours/week Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 3:30-11pm CLOSING DATE: January 22nd, 2021 EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a University or Community College with an appropriate degree or certificate in Human Services.

An equivalent of education and experience may be considered.

First Aid, CPR, and Non-Violent Intervention training required.

A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: The position requires the values and ability to promote community inclusion, and support people to exercise positive control of their lives.

The ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently is essential.

Experience and specialized training related to autism and/or challenging behaviours is an asset.

Knowledge and ability to use alternative communication systems would be an asset.

Willingness and experience supporting individuals who may display challenging behaviours is required.

Working knowledge of computers is preferred.
