Tool & Die Apprentice

This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.

Massiv Die-Form, a division of Magna International, designs and builds medium to large cast automotive and hot stamping dies. • Complete tasks and assignments within the trade under the direction of a Tool & Die Maker.
• Complete theoretical training as per government regulation and pass required exams.
• Complete training standards as per government guidelines.
• Be familiar and comply with Massiv Die-Form’s Apprenticeship Program Policy & Procedures Guideline.
• Responsible for applicable QEMS policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Assist toolmakers in production run.
• Responsible to carry out duties for Health, Safety, and Environment in accordance with the HS&E Agreement for Employees – Addendum
• Perform other reasonable duties as required and assigned.

• Grade 12 education required.
• College Diploma/certificate/pre-apprenticeship in a related field is an asset
• Previous tooling/machine shop experience an asset.
• Good communication skills 
• Crane/Forklift experience an asset.

Working Conditions:

• Shop Floor Environment
• Overtime may be required at times
• Overnight business travel may be required at times
