Are you looking for your next career move as a Tool & Die Maker, or Tool & Die Maker Apprentice?

We are looking for Tool & Die Makers for a full time opportunity in Simcoe, Ontario.

Candidates who are looking to relocate are welcome to apply, and may be eligible for a relocation bonus.

In this role you will work as a part of a team to troubleshoot breakdowns, set up dies, repair dies and troubleshoot production issues.

This is a fast paced, automotive environment where quick thinking on your feet will ensure your success.

Tasks and duties will include:
– preventative Maintenance tasks
– assisting operators with troubleshooting production/quality issues
– demonstrate motivation
– repairing dies
– performing basic welding repair work
– set up and operate machines to repair and fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures
– working with highly competing priorities
– mentoring apprentices
– lean manufacturing Advantages
– great starting pay ($32.28) with reviews every 6 months with potential rate increases for the first 36 months.

– $1/hr shift premiums when working night shift

– must have provincial certification, or have finished all schooling as an apprentice as a Tool & Die Maker
– trouble shooting experience
– experience working with manual lathes/mills to perform repair work
– knowledge of stamping presses is ideal, but not required
– operation of forklift and overhead crane
– willing to work at elevated heights and obtain aerial lift certification
– able to work a 3 shift rotation
